Dr. Gorbatov earned his medical doctorate from the Technion American Medical School in Haifa, Israel. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Jacobi Medical Center and his fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Mount Sinai Morningside, West and Beth Israel where he was Chief Fellow his last year.  Dr. Gorbatov was most recently working as Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Institute of Critical Care Medicine at Mount Sinai Beth Israel. 

He is passionate about medical education having completed the Teaching Scholars Curriculum education track during fellowship. he has a particular interest in Point-of-Care- Ultrasound helping create a curriculum for medical residents as well as serving as a hands-on instructor for multiple Hospitalists' and fellows' courses. He also served on the Graduate Medical Education special review committee at Mount Sinai Health System aiding various training programs throughout the hospital network.

He speaks English, Russian and is conversational in Hebrew, French and Spanish. In his free time, he enjoys reading, outdoor activities, board games and time with his dog and family.

Liam Gross, DO

Liam Gross, DO is a board certified pulmonary and critical care physician practicing at Highland Medical, Pulmonary Medicine Associates in Nyack, NY. He comes to Highland Medical from New York Presbyterian, Weill Cornell where he was an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine working at two hospitals within the system specializing in pulmonary and critical care medicine. He also ran the Lung Transplant evaluation clinic at New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist hospital in partnership with the Columbia University Lung Transplant program.

Dr. Gross earned his doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, NY. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at New York Presbyterian Queens in Queens, NY where he was recognized and awarded as a best overall resident. He completed his fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care at New York Presbyterian, Brooklyn Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. 

Dr. Gross has multiple publications and was awarded Excellence in Teaching by an Attending in 2018, 2020 and 2021. He holds professional memberships to the American College of Chest Physicians, Society of Critical Care Medicine and the American Thoracic Society. During his free time Dr. Gross enjoys spending time with his family, hiking and reading.

Murali G. Krishna, MD, FCCP is board-certified Pulmonologist practicing at Pulmonary Medicine Associates in Nyack, NY. Dr. Krishna will also serve as the Section Chief and Medical Director of Pulmonary Medicine at Montefiore Nyack Hospital.

Dr. Krishna comes to Highland Medical from Garnet Health as a pulmonary-critical care attending physician at Orange Regional Medical Center. He received his Medical Doctorate at Madras Medical College in Chennai, India, completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX and his Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine Fellowship at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Montefiore Medical Center, Jacobi Medical Center and Jack D. Weiler Hospital in the Bronx, NY.

Dr. Krishna is a fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians and a member of the American Thoracic Society (ATS) and the Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM). He is the author of two books, several book chapters and has presented his research at numerous national and international conferences and over thirty peer-reviewed publications. He enjoys tennis, golf, travel, skiing, scuba diving and Orange Theory fitness workouts.

Dr. Miller earned his medical doctorate from the State University of New York, Health Science Center at Syracuse, School of Medicine in Syracuse, NY. He completed his residency at New York University Medical Center in Internal Medicine and his fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Columbia/Presbyterian Medical Center in New York, NY.  

He has provided care to patients in a private practice and hospital settings for over twenty years.

His experiences have ranged from Emergency Room medicine, outpatient and inpatient Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine as well as Critical Care medicine in the ICU. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family, skiing, bicycling, kite surfing and hiking.
