He practices clinical cardiology both at Highland Medical, Advanced Cardiovascular Care in West Nyack, NY.

Dr. Southren received his medical doctorate from New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY. He completed his Internship and Residency at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO, and his Cardiology Fellowships at Emory University in Atlanta, GA and New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY.
